A generous portion of fish slices with tofu and vegetables in clear soup. The fish soup is clear and light in flavour. The fish slices were fresh, thick and chunky but a little overcooked hence the fish meat is not as soft/smooth. There's always a long queue at this stall so it's best to go early and beat the crowd ใ€‹$5.50

There was a long queue so decided to try. The fish slices were very big. Very generous with the portion. I find the meat not smooth and tender. However, still a good bowl for this price point.

This is one famous fish soup stall at 409 Hawker Centre, and I can definitely see why! The medium portion of double fish soup bee hoon ($5.50) was a huge portion, with quite a generous amount of fish slices! The batang slices were so fresh and were in huge thick pieces. The fried fish slices are pretty wholesome too, especially when dipped in the salted bean sauce ๐Ÿ˜ Quite value for money, I can imagine myself coming here when I'm around the area!

The batang here is really fresh n Q. The owner serve u a big piece of fish and it is thick cut!!! Not forgetting a big handful of vegetables to go with. The Q can be long, the waiting is not that long as the movement is quite fast.
Thumbz up !!!

Definitely one of the better fish soup stalls around! Get ready to queue.

As you can probably see from the photo, the fish slices served here were really thick and fresh. Priced at just $7 for the M bowl, that generous amount of fish slices certainly caught me by surprise. If I had to nitpick, I feel that the soup can still be tastier.

Very fresh and tasty. If you're health conscious and love fish slice soup. This is the place to come. Very authentic no MSG soup and really thick slices of Batang fish. A starter dish of $4 is really worth it. Just add $1 for fish belly or eggs. Deliciously healthy.
