I recently had dinner at Meadesmoore and it was one of the best steaks I have honestly had in Singapore! We started with Sourdough bread either burnt leek and onion butter and the bread was hearty and crispy yet pillowy soft and the butter had a slight tang that was delicious and comforting! We also had the Roasted French Scallop which was fresh and slightly sweet with the savoury skordalia and wagyu XO sauce. It paired really well! For our main we had the Undercut, Sierra and Denver steaks and it was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, exactly the way a steak should be. The beef had a hint of smokiness and had us going back bite after bite. It was perfectly tender with a slight chew, and the meat tears away easily when u bite into it. The signature house wine sauce and sauce on the side was also amazing and it added another level to savour. We also had the side of Mac and Cheese and I personally loved the extra crispiness on top of the dish, with the creaminess of the 4 types of cheese complementing one another. Lastly, for dessert, we had the Tiramisu and they made it so well, with the cream cloud infused with the taste of brandy yet staying so light. Each bite was wonderful and packed with the familiar espresso flavour, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend trying Meadesmoore!

Went for dinner at Zhup Zhup on Saturday and both my partner and I really enjoyed the meal! We had the pork ribs and prawn prawn noodle, along with the prawn hokkien mee, century egg, ngoh hiang and fried tofu! They also gave us a complimentary in-house made prawn crackers! The broth of the prawn noodles was very prawn-y in the best way, with it being with gao but not too thick or thin. Kept going back for the broth! Plus, the pork rib was so tender, literally teared away from the bone so easily and was not tough, one of the best pork ribs ive had in a while. The hokkien mee also had that wok hey i like in my hokkien mee and prawns all around were really fresh. The tofu was crispy outside and very silky and smooth inside while still having a bit of chew inside. Noodle portion was also very generous! Highly recommend giving Zhup zhup a visit!

Really good Fish and Chips, definitely one to give a try. The batter was really crispy and the fish did not have that fishy taste, and the tar tar sauce paired nicely with a good amount of tang and creaminess! The Spaghetti Al Granchio was interesting, something new, with a generous amount of crab meat and was light and flavourful. The spaghetti was also cooked really well and is of high quality.

I especially enjoyed the Churros and Vanilla ice cream dessert, as the ice cream was reminded me of custard in the best way, yet it wasn’t too sweet. It was creamy but didn’t feel heavy. With the good music and cozy ambience, I’d recommend coming down especially for Dinner 🍽️!

Overall, it was a 5/5 meal and ambience, would love to come back again to eat their other dishes!
