The Oreo Boba Yoghurt was a pleasant surprise and made me reminisce of the old school prep drinks from Sweet talk I would frequent when younger. The sweetness of the Oreo balances with the tang of yoghurt and adds a nice crunch to the drink! Would def recommend this. The Lemon-Lime Yo-Tea on the other hand was a less delectable experience. I went in expecting something refreshing but the citrus taste clashed with the yoghurt to produce a jarring sensation mired by the surprisingly thick viscosity that was less than satisfying.
I’ve been meaning to try the kueh from Kim Choo and finally had the chance to recently! Really enjoyed the traditional fillings and new flavours they introduced. Generous with the filling and all elements worked well together
Hakka pork: melt in your mouth pork and well seasoned rice even though we over steamed it
Emperor: pork was well seasoned and the sausage was a nice twist
The pork ribs and chili con carne side was done really well but leaned towards the sweeter taste profile. The steak was done to a medium and had minimal grey banding, very nicely cooked and tender.
