We got the pork belly, pork jowl, and beef short ribs. Staff was very friendly and cooked the meats according to our preference which was nice of them! Our favourite was the pork jowl which came out and juicy and fatty.
We got the mushroom soup, grilled octopus, and braised beef which were all lovely
Beef was very tender and the noodles was nice and springy, generous portion of meat and tendons
Fried camembert was nice and gooey, it paired well with the truffle honey. We got the wagyu denver steak which was very juicy and succulent, with broccollini on the side. We had cheesecake for dessert, the strawberry compote was nice and tart.
The pork belly was nice and crispy. Flakey salt added an additional crunch factor. Their prawn paste chicken and pork chives dumplings were nice too. We ordered their whole grilled squid, if you prefer squid on the saltier and heavily charred side this would be something you'd enjoy!
The fried shrimps very nice and crispy, chicken karaage came in a generous portion. Enjoyed the shredded potatoes with mentaiko sauce too!
beef cheek was tender and the pea mash was soft and nice. we also ordered fruit juice which was cool and refreshing! nice ambience and good service.
We were served 2 cuts of steak: rump cap and rib eye cap. Both were beautifully charred on the outside, nice and rare on the inside. Came with choron, red wine sauce and flakey sea salt on the side. The mac and cheese had a nice truffle aroma, not to overpoweringly creamy.
Beef heart salad was juicy and refreshing, the sherry vinegar did a good job cutting through the fatty rib eye cap steak. Grilled baby octopus was lightly torched on the outside and not overcooked, very tasty. Fried pig face was lightly battered and the filling was nice and gelatinous, pigs ears added an interesting texture. Overall a wonderful meal!
Fish and chips came in a very generous portion. The fish was nicely done, still moist with crispy exterior. Chips were on the crunchier side, overall pleasant dish. Guinness was nice and refreshing!
