We had the beef rib stew and it was really delicious. The meat was so tender it simply fell off the bone and the stew was very tasty. We upgraded one of the rice to the crabmeat and roe rice ball, it was pretty unique and came with a generous portion of crab. On the side, we had the honey mustard and cheese egg roll which was very satisfying and the cheese wasn’t too overpowering. Would highly recommend!
It has a really nice and cozy ambience, perfect for a date! The staff were really attentive as well. They had really unique and special dishes on the menu.
We started off with the breaded pig's head, which was perfect for those who enjoy strong flavours. We also had the baby octopus piperade, it comes with a tasty sauce, but my only feedback is that the octopus could be more tender. Lastly, we tried the bone marrow which was really rich and came with the best sour dough I've ever had.
The portion of steak was generous. Along with the steak, we had mac and cheese, which was not overly rich and we also had a side of tomatoes which was refreshing and great to cut through the heaviness of the steak.
Overall I enjoyed dining here, service was fast and portions were generous. I had the dry prawn noodles with prawn balls, the soup was very very rich and flavorful. The dry noodles were pretty notable as well, with the tasty sauce and additional pork lard, while sinful was very tasty! The Ngor Hiang was nice, not too oily and well fried.
However, one feedback was that while there were fans, the place can get quite warm in this weather which might affect the dining experience.
Cozy little establishment with good vibes! I had calamari to start and it was really flavorful and not overdone. The ribs were tender and the meat fell off the bone easily. Servings were generous and service was great as well :)
