Food: 3.8/5
Coffee: 3.8/5
Not a coffee connoisseur, so I’d just say that the coffee is pretty good. We ordered the Baked eggs Cocotte - had absolutely no idea what it was but came to a conclusion that it is basically eggs in tomato soup with sausages and bread (something like a pita, but I also ordered extra sourdough on the side). It’s pretty good and light to eat; the Tom yum pasta is good but really sour! It can get a little gelak after awhile though (as per all strong flavours).
BUT, I’ve been here twice and must say that their grilled cheese and gassed house eggs are superb!!! Will be back for sure!
Food: 3.8/5
The food here is pretty good, what’s supposed to be crunchy is crunchy, and what’s supposed to be meaty is meaty. We ordered the Burpple meal sets and that allowed us to try most of the available “Katsus”, I’d say the beef katsu is the best, followed by the pork, then ebi and lastly the patty - the patty just wasn’t my kind of meat (it was kinda mushy-ish).
Final conclusion: If you beyond, this is worth it, without it…. I’d say it’s probably alittle expensive.
