@fragrance_bak_kwa has a wide variety of goodies, snacks and frozen cooked meals that can be included in CNY celebrations! They have CNY sets that are great for gifting and they're having promotions on their website as well. They have a variety of bakkwa for different preferences such as Signature Sliced Tender Bak Kwa, Crispy Bak Kwa and Almond and Premium Kurobuta Bak Kwa, some even individually wrapped for convenience too. The snacks such as Crispy Pork Floss Tots and Truffle Potato Chips are crispy and tasty too, I liked the tots the most! The frozen cooked food are easy to prepare and we especially enjoyed the Salted Kampong Chicken which was super tender and tasty.

If you haven't gotten your CNY goodies, @hunghuatcakesandpastries is still selling them at their shop! They also have these addictive crackers and chips that are air fried so you don't feel as guilty with all that feasting. We had the arrowhead chips, yam chips and lotus root chips. The arrowhead chips had a slight sweetness to it, the yam chips were super crisp and fragrant and the lotus root chips were tasty too! We enjoyed them a lot and had a hard time stopping 😆 They have other crisps and flakes such as seaweed and crabstick as well 🤤

The CNY snacking continues with all the goodies we bought from @hunghuatcakesandpastries! Apart from what we tried previously, we also got butter cheese cookies, seaweed crackers, gula melaka kueh bangkit, charcoal baked kueh bahulu, cashew nut cookies, hae bee hiam, black sesame brittle and kueh lapis! I especially liked the gula melaka kueh bangkit because it's very unique. The seaweed crackers and butter cheese cookies were super addictive too! 😋

The almond florentines were fragrant as well with a strong roasted flavour and a very crunchy texture. Their bakes are not too sweet as well so we enjoyed them a lot 😋 If you're looking for CNY goodies do consider giving them a try!

@alittlebakery_ is selling homemade goodies such as pineapple tarts ($15) and almond florentines ($11) now for CNY. I loved how the pineapple tart pastry was fragrant and melted in my mouth with a good amount of pineapple filling in it.

The kueh bangkit melted in our mouths and wasn't too sweet too. They have other variations such as low sugar or gula melaka versions as well. 😋

The pineapple tarts had a delicious buttery tart pastry with homemade pineapple paste made from fresh pineapples that had a slight tangy flavour to balance its sweetness and the savoury buttery flavours.

The love letters were fragrant and we could immediately tell that they were grilled over charcoal from its flavour. They're light and crisp in texture as well.
