Savoury Bakes

Another one of my many visits to @aliceboulangeriesg included trying one of their savoury croissants, the egg mayo croissant. I love the croissant texture with the generous portion of egg mayo in it and they heated it up nicely too 😋 I had it with a mocha which had a good balance of coffee and chocolate flavours as well. I love yummy chill breakfasts like this 😌

The ham and cheese was tasty with a generous portion of ingredients and it was delicious toasted having the cheese melt along with a crisp croissant

Ordered these savoury flavoured cronuts from @flake.sg because I was attracted by their flavours. The flavours in this box were Tom Yum, Mentaiko, Mala, Laksa, Salted Egg, and Nasi Lemak. I didn't try all the flavours but the ones I tried had rich flavours and are best shared because these cronuts are quite large and buttery too. I loved the texture (swipe to see cross section) but my only issue was how messy everything became after heating it up 😅 Might be better to order now that gatherings are possible and you can have everything fresh!

@brotherbird_bakehouse had Korean Edition Boxes for November which we really enjoyed especially in smaller boxes of 4 (compared to the usual 6). We got the Savoury Box which had Dakgalbi (Chicken) Chausson, Ham & Cheddar Twice-Baked and 2 Mentaiko Prawn Twice-Baked. I liked all of them for the crisp and fluffy texture along with the buttery goodness that each item brings. They aren't too heavy or rich so they are easy to eat too. My favourite flavour is the Mentaiko Prawn Twice Baked which ended up to be one of their more regular flavours 😅 I hope that Injeolmi makes a comeback, I tried to get it when I collected my box but it was sold out. It's a flavour I look forward to trying! 🤤

The Rosemary Cheddar Chive Scones were crisp outside while fluffy inside and very flavourful as well.
