This is one of the most affordable and flavourful thunder tea rice i've tried 🤤 The soup is adequately savoury and extremely gao! It's extremely rich in flavour, yet it feels so comforting to drink even during a hot weather.
They do not scrimp on the ingredients either - each bowl is loaded with cabbage, long beans, dried tofu and others which i am too unknowleagable to recognize 😶. There's also bits of cai poh (preserved radish) which adds a nice crunch and saltiness when the rice is mixed together. The brown rice which is difficult to master is nicely cooked. It does not taste undercooked at all neither is it too moist and wet. Perfecto ❤

In (thunder tea) essence, this is by far the best thunder tea rice i've tried due to its serving, taste and affordable price. 🥰

They sell Hakka-style yong tao fu which costs about $1/ingredient too! Will visit again to give them a try 🤤

Important question: If long beans are chopped up, should we call them short beans then?
