The food was exceptional, each with toppings and flavours that greatly complements the dishes.

Visited the bar during the night for dinner and was immediately reminded of my time in Japan upon entrance. The bar possesses a lovely ambience that is great for catchup sessions with friends, along with the delicious food offerings along with their wide variety of authentic sake.

As this was my first visit, I asked the staff for recommendations whereby they exhibited an outstandingly deep knowledge of the menu. Their Pork Jowl is definitely one of my favourite dishes, with an unexpectedly soft and smooth texture that almost melts in your mouth! No doubt a great suggestion from the staff, and will come back again just for it! The Parmesan Chizu Chips were also mouth-watering for cheese lovers like me, paired with cherry tomatoes and honey to help cleanse your palate while also being delicious! The other dishes were also great, and will definitely recommend others to come and have a delightful experience just like I did.

Additionally, the bar is conveniently located near Telok Ayer and Tanjong Pagar MRT Stations, which was also great for digestion after my scrumptious meal at Shukuu Izakaya.
