Soups
there’s not much tofu tbh but q a lot of other ingredients were given!! don’t get the kimchi fried rice btw it’s mid
the soup was really good!! tender pork ribs and there was alotttt given the price point.
the fish was so bland😭😭😭 and the soup was q oily
decided to try a new thai restaurant and we loved the food!! honestly it’s one of the better thai restaurants in SG. prawn cakes were huge & meaty & not too oily. tomyum soup was sour & spicy. kangkong was flavourful and not too salty
you can choose to get a spicy or clear base!! but this one wasn’t really spicy, kind of like kimchi level? there was a lot of ingredients!! this was v comforting to eat esp if you sit indoors because the aircon is really strong HAHA
q nice! i liked the infusion of red wine🍷 and the breadstick was so long HAHAHAH v cute
ABC pork ribs soup ($5.80) which comes w a side of choice (i picked seasonal veg) & rice of choice (i picked porridge). v worth!
- sambal kangkong had too much water but was v garlicky. my dad and i kept reaching for it
- tomyum soup was not bad! q spicy but msg loaded
- pandan chicken was q small & tough
- prawn omelette was really good!! prob my fav dish at this stall apart from the fried rice
a bit too salty but it’s still q nice!! not v spicy too
I loveeee SBCD so I knew I had to try this, esp when it’s so much nearer to me now! I had the Vegetable Soontofu Set ($6). Portions were much smaller but also cheaper! I think the soup at SBCD tastes better but this was not bad honestly😋
not too starchy nor too watery. had mushroom chunks too and served with bread & the fried!! croutons!! sooo goood
ROASTED TOMATO BASIL SOUP ($13.90) wqs not bad, tangy, but would have liked it to be thicker. changed my sourdough to a GRILLED CHEESE TOASTIE (+$4) and judging from the photo, you can clearly see that it’s oozinggg with cheese & caramelised onions🤤🧀
