a bit too salty but it’s still q nice!! not v spicy too

I loveeee SBCD so I knew I had to try this, esp when it’s so much nearer to me now! I had the Vegetable Soontofu Set ($6). Portions were much smaller but also cheaper! I think the soup at SBCD tastes better but this was not bad honestly😋

ROASTED TOMATO BASIL SOUP ($13.90) wqs not bad, tangy, but would have liked it to be thicker. changed my sourdough to a GRILLED CHEESE TOASTIE (+$4) and judging from the photo, you can clearly see that it’s oozinggg with cheese & caramelised onions🤤🧀

Deep-fried Chicken Stir-fried w Cashews ($6.90) - didn’t really like the sauce for this :/ it’s a little too sweet
Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup ($6.90) - this was my fav of the 3! slightly spicy and sour enough

Grouper Fisboat ($48 - M)
I like Grouper more than the other fishes because it’s silky smooth & firm, with a mild flavour to allow the sauces and soup to shine more. It’s healthier too!

love is walking under the scotching sun for half an hour for this equally hot bowl of small sliced fish soup ($5).

huge portion with lots of chunky fish slices that were soft tender & sweet! and the soup was flavourful; not bland at all! love that they gave lots of cabbage hehe

it’s not bad, but wouldn’t get again. the soup was a little too salty. their udon still bomb tho
