Filipino Food

While at SGH, I checked out this innovative canteen that offers a brooad range of food - proudly supported by SATS, from filipino food, western, Chinese, jap and more. Spoilt for choice while selecting on their ipad menu, getting an SMS on my order preparation, and a notification when it's done. I've to enter the pin to get my food (in these lockers). Completely contactless and just right for these covid times.

Did I mention that the prices are pocket friendly too? It's about $6-$10 for most dishes. I landed with this Chicken Adobo dish, which is delectable braised chicken and it's served with fragrant gingery chicken rice. Makes me miss Philippines ($6.90)

Hearty chopped lechon that makes me reminisce the days in Cebu! This place is packed with locals and the crrrisp skin simply crackles as you bite into it. While the meat may be on the tougher side, must say it's definitely flavourful. Pair it either with their soy sauce or the peppery liver sauce (perched on top)

My favourite pasta together with extremely crispy yet decadently juicy tender meat?? Tried for the first time and it got the stamp of approval (over A&W, KFC)

The meal of ~$12.50 included two thighs, pasta, fries and one free flow drink. Will be back! And cant wait to try the original at Phili

Will dig in to this again with that thicc chunks, crisp and generous fats. The sauce is peppery and reminds me of bak ku teh. While the rice is on the drier side, the meat more than make up for it (~$10)

Lechon sisig!! We had to order this after seeing the dish and smelling its aroma! Its diced lechon (roast pork) served piping hot and mixed with flowy egg and topped with zesty lime. While on the oily side, its ultimately rewarding

First time trying filipino food :D it was very delish

The hospitality here by the chef is a big plus, as he did self intros and asked for our names.
