Ordered the level 1 spicy maze soba but it felt like level 10 spicy omg it was WAYYYYYY too spicy and my whole tongue was numb at the first bite. Had to get boost juice to cool off my tongue and it took me a good 30 min to get thru half the bowl and i didn’t even finish it cause it was way too spicy. Will never come back agn :(

This mala bowl is definitely one of a kind!! They don’t use the normal Maggie noodles but some other noodle brand(as seen in the photo) that tastes even better than the conventional Maggie noodles. We ordered 小辣 and the spice level is just right for me but my friend was choking on the spice and only ate a quarter of this cause it was too spicy for her to continue!! The way chilli oil that they use also tastes different from the usual chilli oils used in mala bowls, you just have to try it to see how diff it tastes!

We requested for it to be less salty as my friend who have previously tried it, felt that it was way too salty and it was okay this time round. Honestly the best mala I’ve had in my life (though I think I only tried a few so far) and if you’re nearby you should definitely drop by to give it a try!

Generous portion of the braised pork rice! Their egg had the gooey consistency that I liked and the braised pork was pretty flavourful. The tsukune patty was tender and well marinated! Will definitely be back to try other dons that they offer.

They even provide games to play while waiting for your food to arrive and my fam had so much fun playing bingo hehhh! Only downside is that it’s a little inconvenient and you probably have to walk 10 min from the nearest bus stop to get thr!!

Generous portions!! The soy honey sauce was super addictive and it was an even mix of all the ingredients after shaking the entire tub (the recommended way to enjoy this) before digging in! The staff even gave us free onsen eggs hehe super generous😩

Extremely value for money aft the burpple deal and this was $4.6 each even after topping up a dollar for buckwheat noodles & brown rice!

We ordered the braised pork noodles, miso mushroom noodles and smoked duck dumplings!! The noodles were flavourful and firm, much to my liking and reminded me a lot of ding tai fung’s dry noodles tossed in special sauce!! The mouthwatering smoked duck dumplings exceeded my expectations, with every bite filling my mouth with the ambrosial grilled duck. I couldn’t get enough of their dumplings!! Will definitely head back to try other dumpling flavours and noodles! The service was excellent as well and the staff quickly served a plate of appetiser and a cup of water each as soon as we sat down. The only downside to the restaurant was that it was pretty crammed and we didn’t feel comfortable eating there especially when it soon became full house a few minutes after we sat down. We arrived around 6pm when it just re-opened so I would suggest making a reservation or arriving there earlier to avoid the queue!!

For the aburi cheese flavour, the takoyaki was blanketed in melted cheese, making it look super appetising!! It was sweet and savoury, and frankly a little too sweet for my liking. The chilli crab takoyaki was topped with generous chunks of crabmeat and it was the right amount of spiciness for me. Pretty worth considering that it was $6.9 for everything with the Burpple beyond deal!!

Soy chicken bibimbap!!! I’m super hyped bout the generous servings of chicken that we were given!! You can customise your own dish and choose 5 sides to go with your main. I chose kimchi as one of the sides and it was quite spicy like authentic korean kimchi! I topped up a dollar to switch the base to buckwheat noodles as a healthier option. The noodles were chewy & cold, similar to the noodles used in naengmyeon and I loved it. Overall, it’s the perfect mix of the traditional & modern taste of bibimbap and I would definitely be back to try other items they have to offer! It’s also really worth with the Burpple beyond deal, with each person paying around $6 only!!

Shoutout to the Imperial Chicken chee cheong fun!!! It included a generous portion of chee cheong fun & chicken topped with a ginger based signature imperial sauce. I usually hate anything with ginger in it cause I rly don’t like its smell & spiciness but somehow the ginger in this dish was delicious and wasn’t spicy at all. Kudos to the people who created the sauce hehe!! The curry chicken was pretty good too and the chicken was super soft & tender! We also ordered the sesame chicken and tbh the sauce tasted like the kewpie dressing used for salads hahaha but still pretty unique & good overall! Would definitely be back to try other chicken flavours like Samsui, Mala & Assam!!
