Azure's Food-ventures!:D
Back here again for the 2nd time!!:D pictured is the iced Rose Latte ($5.50~) and iced Earl Grey Latte ($5.50):) had their beetroot pancakes again which was so gooooodddd and tried the specials, which was duck confit with aligot. I preferred the chicken thigh with aligot personally though haha. Would love to go back again and try the furikado toast!:)
With burpple beyond 1for1 jaffles, we had Fishy Business ($13) which was spicy tuna mayo and cheese, and Fowl Play ($15) which was chicken-based. Felt that the jaffles were nothing special though, seemed to be just tuna toasty and chicken toasty. Was looking forward to trying their PB&J jaffles but wasnt on the menu anymore:( we also got a (S)More Please dessert waffles ($13) as pictured, was ok. Rather expensive for the food, but the ambience was nice:)
Quattro formaggi pizza was super cheesy and yummy and the crust was thin and crispy:) abit on the pricier side at $20~, we ordered the large one to share. Also had the aglio olio which was a tad too salty for my liking, and tiramisu which was really good!
Truffle fries ($13) was served with shredded parmesan and garlic chips, truffle taste was very strong which was great, but garlic chips were a tad under fried as it lacked crispiness. The 60% cacao iced chocolate ($8.90 i think) was quite rich and good. Overall, the food was good but slightly pricey.
A small cafe with a chill ambience, great for reading a book, working or chilling with friends!:D food is relatively affordable between 10-20 bucks, made all the more affordable with burpple beyond:D ordered coq au vin - chicken leg in red wine sauce with aligot and edamame, chicken was super tender and delicious!! Loved the beetroot pancakes w avo as well!! Had pomegranate oolong tea which was very fragrant and cleansing after the rich meal:) will definitely be back!
