Prawn paste! When me and my wife come, we always order a full serving. The prawn paste is soft and has a good bounciness and intrinsic flavour to it. The staff will give you a special sauce to go with it, be sure to enjoy it together!
Life hack: ask the server to distribute the paste in smaller pieces, they last much longer and makes you feel a lot fuller
Soup tastes authentic and healthy with little additives. It’s a simple straightforward formula, not a highly complex affair, but it feels great and healthy on a cold day. The chicken is afterwards mixed with a spicy tangy sauce (think 红油抄手)which makes for a good second dish. A must try
Must tries are the collagen soup and the spicy nourishing soup. Pro tip even if you eat with just two people go for four soups you will only pay 1-2 dollars more than ordering 2 soups.
Cons: service a bit slow. Soups started boiling before dishes arrived
The staples:
Beancurd skin
Ebiko prawn paste
Signature fish tofu
Potato wide vermicelli
