Ended off the meal with these 3 beautifully crafted bite sized creations. From right to left,
1. Lemon tart with mint jelly
2. Fig vincotto in almond chocolate shell
3. Shot of yolk + amaro
The presentation was not only excellent, but these bites were well thought of and executed 😍
Definitely one of my highlights though it’s just bread. Loving how they charred the bread till it’s crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside. The texture was exactly how I’d like it, and paired with the olive oil, 👌🏻😋
Of course I had to go for another serving of it
We started off with the amuse bouche, this was one of them. Flavours was pretty expected, fish cracker was made well. Nothing amazing, just a good start to the meal 🙂
This would be my top dish of the night. The mirugai (geoduck) was cooked to perfection, along with the chrysanthemum, orzo base and their sauce. All of them went perfectly well. Rlly impressed 👍🏻
The beef itself was really tender and good, but didn’t really enjoy the sauce on top of it. Was quite disappointed as their previous beef dish was sooo good when I came last year.
Didn’t really enjoy the taste of the morel mushroom as well, so this whole combination sadly didn’t work out for me :(
Refreshing with a side of sorbet, the sauce itself was very light and went very well with the white asparagus. Would prefer this dish to be more savoury, but overall still really yummy 😋
This was incredibly interesting! The salmon looking thing was actually carrot, and the other ingredients were coconut, konjac, huai san. We were thinking on how they’d be able to do sashimi platter out of plants, but this was done beautifully.
Everything surprisingly went well with the wasabi and soya sauce, even the coconut. If you’re looking for something truly unique, you got to order this cold dish. 👍🏻
Quite an interesting dish with layers of Apple mozzarella and basil dressing, none of the flavours in the sauce stood out, it was just a pretty good creamy sauce in between the thinly sliced pear. I love how refreshing this is, together with all the flavours combined together. This dish made me pretty happy 🙂
Other than that, the tomato on the side, was a little too sweet. Mint yoghurt dressing pretty standard.
Grilled monkey head mushroom with truffle mash and with crispy “pasta”. Very interesting flavours with the mushroom. Love the texture of it, overall a dish worth trying!
Would have been better if the sauce was unique, rather than just a standard black pepper sauce.
