+ $1.50 for Boba pearls, total price amounted to $6.10 😨 but this tasted way better than Floral Green Tea Macchiato. 👍🏻 The pearls are chewy and nicely done.
A little on the pricier side but overall the drink wasn’t too bad. The cup design could be better though. The cap’s drinking flap isn’t actually sealed on top so the drink spilled a little when I was walking around Jewel.
Tea was really more fragrant than the usual green tea macchiato ($2.90) at Koi Express. The cream on top is fluffier and lighter as compared to those at Koi Express and the sugar level in the BBT is done pretty well too (sometimes I get overly sweet green tea macchiatos at Koi Express even though I always ask for 25% sugar).
Ordered 25% sugar and no ice, added $0.80 for pearls.
It’s quite good when you drink from the mouth piece, the mountain tea is really refreshing. However, when it’s all mixed together, the cheese macchiato definitely overpowers the tea taste. The pearls are smaller as compared to other bubble tea shops.
I used to drink Koi a lot but comparing this drink to my recent Koi Oolong Macchiato 25% sugar and no ice, Chun Yang’s bbt is less sweet!
Thought the “cicada” would give me a different oolong tea taste but it tasted just like any other oolong bbt. Nonetheless, still a refreshing drink!
First time trying Hollin’s, and I have to say, their rock salt pearls tasted pretty unique at first, but after awhile, it becomes jelat and a little weird(?) as it felt like I was eating a lot of dangos with matcha.
In contrast, I quite liked the Strawberry Green Tea Macchiato with sugar pearls (because that tasted more NORMAL) 🤨
Fruity tea that wasn’t sickeningly sweet and packed with lots of strawberries. 🍓
//Finally decided to try Heytea’s famous fruit cheese teas after trying their Ever Spring Cheezo Tea and Jade Matcha Cheezo Tea in Shanghai. 😆
Tried their Cheese Alishan Mountain Dew (front) and Passion fruit Tea (behind), both very refreshing drinks and not too sweet as well!
