Filled with Yuzu fragrance, the sponge cake is semi-firm and airy on the inside and moist with soft ‘crunch' edges on the outside. Pretty worth bucks and calories.

As for the Matcha cake, it’s made up of matcha chiffon sponge layered with matcha white chocolate ganache, topped with matcha cream and dusted matcha powder. Love the contrast of sweetness from the cake and slight bitterness from the matcha powder. A slice that suits most taste buds and a good entry to the world of matcha dessert for first timers.

This slice from @Luna.Singapore also has a pleasant surprise factor with small pieces of yam embedded in the paste layer, bringing a nice contrast in texture. Flavour wise, it’s light as they use yam with no artificial flavouring. As a huge fan of Orh Nee, I would prefer the cake to be richer.
