[MEDIA] Aromatic truffle paste and melted smoked cheese come together with sautéed shimeji mushrooms to yield earthy flavours with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, with a luxurious shaving of fresh truffles adding a finishing touch. [$15]

[MEDIA] SONS deserves credit for its tasteful presentation of its dishes, like this Duck Leg Confit with Cannellini & Cherry Tomatoes [$26]. While the golden crispy skin is delightful to crunch into, it is however let down by the dry meat within. A touch (or a few) more of moistness in the meat would have done the trick.

🚇: Telok Ayer
💵: $25 - $35

[MEDIA] Sweet meets savoury in the Baked Brie [$17], which features a whole wheel of oven-baked brie drizzled with honey and topped with roasted rosemary, almond flakes, and crumble. Tuck in immediately to enjoy the most of this gooey, melted delight.

🚇: Somerset
💵: $20 - $30

[MEDIA] A traditional Italian appetiser, Beef Carpaccio [$15] is vibrantly coloured and perfect for indulging on a languid weekend. Thinly-sliced beef tenderloin is garnished with watercress and yuzu wasabi to make a richly flavoured communal dish. Plus points for the smattering of purple and yellow flowers petals that add colour to it!

💵: $20 - $30

[MEDIA] Seafood never looked this sexy 🤤LIME delights with luxed up renditions of hawker staples and Asian flavours at Local Loco, happening this month!

Other than Singapore chilli crab and curry lobster, the steamed oysters are a highlight with a trio of Thai chilli, mala, and sambal belachan dips that elevate the plump, succulent crustaceans.

[MEDIA] Not to be confused with Fook Kin, which coincidentally is also headed by another DJ duo. This Wagyu Truffle Don [$34-58++] stands out with generous layers of wagyu sukiyaki and saved truffles perched atop slow cooked egg and nanatsuboshi rice from Hokkaido.

[MEDIA] One of the pricier items on the menu is also one of the richest. This Roasted Foie Gras is layered atop king oyster mushrooms for added textures. Served with dry ice, it certainly looks like a dish sent from the heavens.

Salmon Skin Chips ($11.90++) looks like one of your run of the mill fried fish skin snacks, but it’s not. Made from skin that is cut away from the coffee smoked salmon, this appetiser is garnished with goma aioli, avocado couli, and smoked salmon purée.

🚇: Outram Park
💵: $25+

{#MEDIA} Sous vide poached fish served atop lime potato risotto and encrusted with fried beancurd puffs and edible flowers. This intense umami bomb was insanely rich, and its complex textures and flavours made it the highlight of my night at Butter.
