Best Dog-Friendly Cafes and Restaurants in Singapore

Best Dog-Friendly Cafes and Restaurants in Singapore

We know how hard it is for dog owners to peel themselves away from their beloved pets, even if it's to hunt down good food. With that in mind, we've put together this week's dog-friendly guide. All the establishments offer tasty food AND welcome dogs — most will ask that you sit alfresco, but we've made note of those who are cool with having dogs indoors. Some even go the extra mile in offering fur kids a bowl of water. From this Thomson pasta joint that holds dress-up parties for dogs to this Holland Village cafe that serves pooches sparkling water, here's a whole list of ideas to include your fur babies on your next makan trip.

Located at the junction of Holland Avenue and Holland Road, PARK is a favourite among cafe-loving Burpplers, and a good idea for pooch owners too. Burppler Hwans Lim loved that her dog was served a bowl of sparkling water (yes you read that right, sparkling). Grab alfresco seats and order the fail-safe crowd favourites — the kitchen turns out excellent Truffle Fries ($11), Truffled Mac & Cheese ($12) and Mentaiko Cream Pasta ($17.50). Sip on their excellent Matcha Milk ($5.50). The service is excellent, both to humans and pets. This is a lovely place to while away a lazy weekend afternoon while noshing on some really delicious and affordably-priced food.

Located behind Changi Village Food Centre, this 270-seater microbrewery doles out the perfect combination for lazy weekends — good food, great beer and chillout vibes, along with an idyllic sea view. This eastside space is an ideal spot for family and friends looking to gather over a few ice-cold pints while doggies roam the spacious alfresco grounds. Take note that dogs are allowed indoors only when it's raining. The Roast Duck ($25), 15-hour Smoked Wagyu Beef Brisket ($18/100g) and Pork Ribs Balinese Style ($26/200g) are stellar options for food, and go well with an order of Roasted Chilli Pumpkin ($10). As for drinks, you get to have some fun pulling your own pint. The Black Magic Dry Irish Stout ($12) and Oh Yeah Singapore Pale Ale ($10) are both very popular here.
