Durian Chendol ($8)
.
Durian and Chendol is like a match made in heaven and @overrun.sg, things are made even better with the insanely smooth texture of the softserve drizzled with copious amounts of gula melaka. I am extremely late to the party but Iβm so glad to have jumped on the bandwagon. Whilst the serving is ginormous and the softserve leaning more towards the dense side, I must confess I have no issues finishing the entire cup all by myself. Will definitely be running back for more soon! Btw, the seasonal flavour is the red velvet!
My third attempt at Centrepoint, I finally found it!!! Melts pretty fast, but taste not badπ $5 for this mixture of hojicha and matcha! For Sydneysiders, this concept is pretty similar to chanomaπ
Taiwanese favourite Smoothie House brings cool relief to our tropical city with bowls of their madly popular Snowflake Ice in a cosy corner of One Raffles Place. The signature Mango Snowflake Ice with Panna Cotta ($12.90) tempts with multiple folds of mango shaved ice studded with huge chunks of mango and crowned with a wobbly panna cotta! Also worth trying is the Tiramisu & Red Beans Snowflake Ice with Panna Cotta ($15.90), with alternating layers of finger biscuits and coffee-based shaved ice dusted with cocoa powder. Bring two or three friends so you can try more flavours!

It specializes in this Japanese Treat called KAKIGORI that somewhat resembles Bingsu in Korea. π§π¨π§.. .

What makes this treat special is that its very fluffy and soft in texture. Also their in-house milk sauce is directly imported from hokkaido. πππ . .
Tried their take on this local delicacy called Gula Melaka. Liked the taste of roasted coconut and the subtle sweetness. This healthy Japanese Dessert is a must try! π

Truly the best cheese tarts around. Biting into the tart, I knew that this was set to be high on my lists of tarts. The tart was buttery and firm but cracks upon sinking your teeth into it!! The cheese itself oozes out yet isn't watery nor did it have the jelat/stinky cheese taste :) Something light that i didn't expect
Definitely will be back for more mmm
Decided to give this a try since there's a burpple promotion of $1 off mixed cone or cup (U.P. $5.50). Unless you can eat fast, I would highly recommend getting the cup version because this soft serve MELTS EXTREMELY FAST (it was melting even though I was walking around the air-conditioned mall). The purple section could withstand a little longer probably due to the sweet potato content, and unfortunately the flavour was so mild that I couldn't even taste anything. The sea salt section, however, was good as it glided across the tongue with a savoury aftertaste. Overall, I would still suggest getting mixed flavours because the sea salt on its own might be too 'jelat' and the sweet potato is just tasteless.
Buttermilk egglet waffles with 1 scoop of horlicks ice cream & pocky toppings ($8.90) was the perfect pick-me-up to mark the end of the week! Very addictive ice cream but it would have been perfect if the waffles were slightly warmer.
For the serving and the price, I'm not complaining man. In fact I loved this black sesame bowl!π€ had it all to myselfπ
If that also applies to life
Perhaps I would win a bigger price
To be the first to break the ice
Or be the one to receive a slice
But in the end all things just come down to vice
Into my life which adds up so much spice
While you left me to my own device
Drown in the ocean which I am learning to dive

Mango with Pomelo and Sago - $5.00
This popular dessert from Mei Heong Yuen (ε³ι¦ε) is extraordinary. The mango puree is perfectly blended with whipped cream and sago, topped with mango cubes, pomelo sacs and crushed ice. Now, the fans of this desserts place will no longer have to go all the way to Chinatown to get their dessert fix.
