Soft and tender wagyu slices + strong truffle taste!

Downside was that all the sauce + flowy egg yolk made the rice a little too wet and salty

Iced genmaicha was good. Not too diluted and priced affordably at $4. The Social Space uses metal straw (as featured) instead of plastic straw. A small step that inspires me to reduce the use of plastic! You can purchase the metal straw at their cafe :) wifi available, instagrammable interior design, good tea&coffee. Support the good cause!

The clam chowder was gooooood, esp for its price at just $3!

The charcoal salmon was dry and did not taste any special. Thankfully the sweet potato fries made up for the imperfection!! Also enjoyed their coleslaw which include olives and dried cranberries!

Not featured in this picture was the creamy mushroom linguine with pork ribs. Another great dish by the chef 👍 pork ribs was soft and tender, the pasta was full of mushroom and taste on point.

$18.50 nett for this well marinated and baked half chicken! Waited 20-30min for this is definitely worth it. The mashed potato is also flavorful. I think they mixed in some cheese? Will be back to try the other items on their menu!

With a bite into the chicken breast, you could tell it was cooked with a well controlled temperature because it's so soft!! Totally beats the myth of chicken breast being dry and tasteless.

We chose japanese brown rice as the base topped with bonito flakes, with brocoli, mushrooms and roasted pumpkin as sides. The yuzu sauce went well with the mains.

This is really one unique way of preparing this dish. Crispy outer layer wrapping the shell pasta, cheese and ham in it. It was not as satisfying as the original form of mac&cheese but with the side salad and poached egg, it is still a very well balanced meal.

Another quiet and pretty cafe which serves up quality cuisine.

Not sure what gave the pink color but the dish was good. At the background was the sio bak. The dish comes with a green mash which we didn't know what gave the color too haha. BUT everything was yumzzz. Except for the 'galaxy cake' which we think wasn't worth the $9

Located under HDB, this small cosy cafe serves quality and affordable western pasta, burgers, truffle fries and coffee (from dutch colony). Cakes are also available but we didn't order.

A unique creation albeit its steep price ($18.90). The mint leaves added a refreshing taste to the pizza and the fruits were not sour at all (thankfully).

Also ordered their coffees and cookies&cream icecream which were not too bad. Another quiet place with beautiful interior design (decorated with plants and furnitures) + wifi available = perfect place to do work. Will be back definitely :)

My second visit to this cafe because we missed the fish&chips! Went on a wednesday night and got this at $10 nett! Super good quality dish because the seabass (from ah hua kelong) is so fresh and well fried without losing the tenderness.

The sauce deserve a special mention because they are prepared by the cafe and are very delicious.

We also ordered the ginger pineapple drink ($4) which was a surprisingly refreshing combination.

The papercrane cafe has different promotion on weekdays. Definitely worth a visit!
