Regularly came here to have dinner as most dishes are value for money. We usually order the deep fried chicken, but decided to try something new by trying the squid. Was already disappointed with the dish when it arrived - bits of squid exposed and the batter so thin that you can't tell if it was deep fried or not. I literally scraped most of the batter off with a spoon. The taste was so soggy that it was like eating moist flour with steamed squid.
I brought this matter to the attention of a senior staff in black, but she adamantly insisted that this was what we ordered without even tasting the dish to understand the problem. You could clearly see how unappetising it looked with bits of squid showing through soggy, disintegrating batter. Disappointing, as we had a fantastic experience at Parkway Parade.
Would advice others to be cautious while dining at this outlet, as their standards are inconsistent and the staff don't seem to be versed in resolving problems.
