A la minute pan seared and flambed foie gras? Why yes please. Unctuously fatty rich with taste, if only they had seared it a bit longer for a better crust.
Truth be told the truffle snow added nothing to the dish, however the berry compote was lusciously sweet and smoky.
Taste: 3.5/5
Lovers of cheese will weep with joy at the sight of the long table laden with all kinds of this dairy delight at Colony's Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet. But don't miss out on the burrata tucked away at the salad section next to the sushi display.
I made sure to make the most of this creamy cheese by dressing it up with some fresh rocket, baby tomatoes, beetroot and a splash of "Noir Aceto Balsamico do Modena". Simple but oh-so-lovely.
Price per adult: $188++ includes freeflow of champagne, $138++ includes freeflow of juices, tea and coffee.
Love eggs. Love them even more deviled with truffle oil and crowned with caviar. *whimper*
Note: This was one of the offerings at the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Colony.
