So glad the weekends are finally round the corner and guess who has their JAPAN TICKETS BOOKED? 😍

Enjoyed the light, floral and fruity flavours of this Swiss roll, although the sponge was a teeny bit tough (could be a one off thing). Also the chai latte was really good and not too sweet! Standard cafe prices - expect to pay around $12 for a cake and drink.

An interesting combination. The matcha isn't as sweet as I thought it to be. Really tasty. Will definitely come back! My only wish is for the cookie to be bigger and for more matcha lava ❤️ the ice cream feels more than the cookie..

A floral and botanical inspired space which houses a cafe, florsit, retail and workshop along Telok Ayer (Beside Sarnies).

The cafe has a rustic feel with rattan chairs, tiled floorings and foliage themed walls. They bake pretty awesomes 'botanical inspired' cakes.

This buttery and moist rose raspberry cake comes with pistachio and a subtle taste of rose 》$8

As both a craft store and a cafe, it's a feast both for the eyes and the tastebuds.
No food is served here though, only coffee and cakes. Coffee was not bad too 🙌🏻

Eggless American fluffy pancakes with mixed berries, raspberry ice cream, maple syrup and whipped cream

Good morning everyone! Saturday mornings are my favorite times of the week 😊

Had brunch at Nosh which is such a beautiful place.. we sat outdoors and felt right within nature with all the trees around. Pictured are:
Orange Beetroot Cured Salmon** ($19)
Yoghurt Pot with Honey Comb** ($8)
Full Monty* ($26)
Nosh Burger with Egg ($24)
Mac n Cheese ($6)
Truffle Fries ($7)
Strawberry Shortcake* ($8)

Pancake-i get why the pancakes here are adored. They are one of the best ive had. The maple butter also sure is an elevated version of Maply Syrup

Usually not one that would order drinks at cafes (as I personally find it not worth), I was glad I did here - though it was for the sake of the latte art initially 😹. The characteristic roasted flavour was surprisingly distinct, with a lingering roasted aroma coupled with a pleasant earthy note. Though not the best Houjicha latte - with my personal favourite still from Matchaya, this was not too bad for a cafe beverage (that does not specialize in teas). .

Brought to us by the people behind Sogurt, KARA Café & Dessert Bar offers the best of both worlds with their eclectic menu injected with Thai, Japanese and Western influences as well as their all familiar froyo flavours.

Loving the décor - the edge of sophistication with the brick walls and fauna motifs while retaining the vitality and playfulness of the brand seems to translate into the food too, imho. From hearty grain/salad bowls, comforting grilled toasties to appetising side and bites, the new concept of the flagship outlet certainly makes for a wholesome and welcoming café. But synonymous with Sogurt, you can’t leave KARA without having DESSERT!

Keeping the self-served froyo bar, opt for an upgrade from their Do-It-Yourself froyo cups and explore their House Desserts which comes with a softie swirl flavour of choice - Homemade Mochi Waffles and Freshly-baked Skillet selection. And for the waffles, there are 4 different options to choose from: Matcha Berry, Scarlet Red Velvet, Charcoal Sesame, and Plain Banana Nutella. Drawn to the Charcoal Sesame ($12.50), the chewy base was pleasantly dense and went along perfectly with the toppings of in-house sesame brittle, sesame puff sticks, lotus crumbs drizzled generously in speculoos sauce. The creamy frozen treats on tap were also two thumb-ups, featuring new favourites like fruity Strawberry Thyme, delicate Lychee Rose, and floral scented Maple Lavender. But my pick that day would be the good ol', velvety, and a low-fat gem - Dark Chocolate!

A big thanks to Burpple for the invite, KARA Cafe for feeding us and Li Ping for hosting us!

The Banana French Toast ($12) from @vxxcooperative is a wicked combination of toasted banana bread, mascarpone, frozen berries and then a drizzle of that COFFEE CUSTARD!
Ah... itchy for another portion and a cup of their good coffee already!
