Cheap Good
I was drawn to the "Cochinita Pibil" as it's listed as one of the new dishes on the menu.
For the price of $15.90, this heap of pulled pork in achiote sauce, served with white corn tortilla, was pretty decent. I did think the tender meat could have done with a bit more salt but fortunately, the accompaniments of pickled onions, habanero sauce and lime helped to make up for that.
.
Chewy, slippery buckwheat noodles in a chilled broth flavoured with vinegar and mustard.
.
Mix the runny yolk from the egg over the vegetables. Very clean, refreshing, zesty sharp sour flavours.

Tucked away in a quiet corner on the 3rd floor of Bugis Cube, this shop serves ramen with a local twist!
Noodles: slightly springy, and goes well with the broth. Add some Japanese chili flakes to mix it up!
Broth: Slightly salty, with a bit of pork aftertaste.
The broth was not as thick as most ramen shops. However, foodies who prefer subtle flavours should love it!
Grilled meat : Usually offering both pork belly, and lean meat, they only offered lean meat when I got there. The meat was sweet, and juicy. Perhaps one of the best components in the ramen.
Fried enoki mushroom: The fried enoki mushroom was much thinner as compared to the usual enoki mushrooms you eat outside. However, the combination of both broth and enoki is fantastic:)
Price: $11.50 ( with an additional egg)

With a reasonably priced menu, KinMoo offers a fair variety of Thai noodles and rice dishes. Hence, after much deliberation we got the BaaMee Haeng Tom Yum (Tom Yum Noodle Dry, $7.50) and BaaMee Keow Haeng Moo Dang (Wonton Noodle Dry, $6.90).
Having no idea on the authenticity, I really enjoyed my bowl of dry wonton noodles and the bowl of radish soup that came together. Served with springy chewy noodles, plump dumplings, lean slices of tender pork and topped with a generous amount of fried condiments; do remember to give everything a good mix before inhaling the noodles. Tossing the noodles, the fragrance from the fried garlic as well as shallots were able to coat the strands and while I usually remove the pork lard, the addition really enhanced the dish and I ended up finishing all the crunchy bits.
Furthermore, to complete the setup, order a comforting bowl of Kow Lao Moo (Mixed Pork Soup, $8.90). Similar to the radish soup mentioned before, their Mixed Pork Soup was light yet flavourful with the defined sweetness from the pork and radish - perfect to add into the dry noodles.
Nett $13. The food is pretty legit here though the portion is small. You definitely have to upsize. The chef is really friendly but the auntie very anal.
I ordered the salmon mentai sushi which tasted the same as the don. The spider maki is abit spicy with soft shelled crab.
