Wow π³ it came with Japanese Egg ζ₯ζ¬η³εΏθ (S$1.90) with lava yolk.
Do you know that it's noodles is specially made locally with Japanese flour in it? That's why it tasted slightly different from the usual noodles.

πππ pretty awesome churros for just $3 in Orchard. Kinda unbelievable. Fried when ordered too, so you get crispy, pipping hot Churros! You can add $0.50 for a tub of chocolate or condensed milk dip but I prefer my Churros plain, especially when they're coated with yummy cinnamon sugar.
The udon by itself has lots of flavour and can be bought individually at a cheap $4.50. Additional sides such as ebi and tempura vegetable can be purchased at prices ranging from $2 to $3.50. Really good, really cheap.

Vietnamese Pork Belly Sandwich ($5.90)
Like that the bun was freshly toasted. Felt a bit dry inside.

This smooth curry noodles is $5. Simple yet wholesome of juicy chicken meat, soft potato and the tau pok is simply adds the layers of indulgence. Blanched yellow noodles made on the spot.
East meets West with Ah Yat's Salt-Baked chicken which was suitably tender but not too salty, although a little on the dry side. There is also an option to replace the fries with rice, but you wouldn't want to do that, because the crisp and salty shoestring fries are the real show stealers here.
Thanks to @sixthsensepr for hosting and @geekyelephant for the invite!

I went for the non-chili option and no regrets there. Fills me up good, but just a tad too salty for my taste. Still good though!
$5 and 3.6/5
No Regrets! I totally enjoyed the softness of the bee hoon that was so fully soaked in the sweetness of the broth. Sooooo tasty & yummy! No MSG said the signageππ»The crispy lard was good! The only wish I had was the prawns to be de-shellπ

Hearty soup for this weather found on level 3 of Lucky Plaza. βοΈNormally I'm here for their ayam penyet/bakar but we decided to share an oxtail soup too!
Really shiok and belly warming stuff! Full of tender meat that falls off the bone but man, it was such TORTURE! After recklessly spamming the super shiok kicap sambal, my mouth was on FIYAπ₯π π₯, only to keep making worse with hot soup. π
Chicken Sushi ($4.90)
Roost's signature chicken sushi fuses japanese with our most well-loved dish. Here, thinly sliced soya Chicken is neatly placed on chicken rice and garnished with fried shallots. A really pretty dish but didn't deliver the same expectations in terms of taste.
Have a marvellous Monday dears π
Chicken Sushi (SGD$4.90), which with tender slices of soya chicken meat on rectangles of chicken rice and garnished with spring onion and glazed with a small dash of teriyaki sauce. The chicken rice sushi was delicious with strong, sure flavours of a good chicken rice dish. It was a pretty refreshing way of eating a traditional local favorite.
