Eating Out

Grilled chicken with melted cheese and jalapeños. Wish they were more generous with the chicken and sauce. Comes with chubby chips and more cheese 😋
Minutes ago, the lobster stuffed to overflowing in my toasted brioche roll was hanging out with its buddies in the tank behind 😳 Luckily it tasted good enough to keep me distracted from this rather disturbing thought 😋 I must admit I was curious though as to why there's a need for that single leaf of lettuce I found tucked at the bottom of everything 🤔 I did truly appreciate the competently done sides of crispy, salty golden fries and simple salad of mixed greens though. They did the job of turning my Lobster Roll into a meal 😄
Juicy beef with grilled corn furikake, sautéed mushrooms, onsen egg, glazed carrots and garlic chips! Perfect Combi I must say. We also tried the Waikiki Surf ($16) which was rather new on the menu: Yuzu marinated salmon poke, smashed avocado, sakura ebi and onsen egg. A decent refreshing dish. But I’ll still stick with my favorite Apoke theory for my poke fix. ❤️

Definitely the best unagi rice bowl in Singapore! The eel is lightly crisp on the outside, with pillowy-soft meat. Add a delicious sweet sauce, freshly grated wasabi and dashi broth, and you have a superstar 🌟 can't wait for my next visit!
