😍 This beautifully plated salad is too pretty to eat. The new summer menu that Chef Steve Allen introduced at Pollen is really quite a treat. This refreshing plated salad include 14 ingredients 😱 like carrots done 3 ways, artichokes, black olive crumbs, mushrooms etc.
#lifehack1: After your meal at Pollen, be sure to walk around the Flower Dome as your meal comes with free entry to the otherwise ticketed attraction
#lifehack2: Buggy service!!! To save you from walking in the heat, when you reach the taxi drop off point at Gardens by the Bay, call reservations at 6608 9988 to send a free shuttle to get you :)
The Sansai; Japanese mountain vegetables with potato nori espuma, bits of pork belly and an uni broth. The joy in this dish happens to be a perfect balance of sweet and savoury with a slight tinge of bitterness (which I surprisingly liked).
This mini mango tartelette is possibly the most amazing representation of Mango I've ever had in my entire life -- and that is quite a long time 😳
The Japanese do not harvest these mangos instead, they wait lovingly for these babies to fully ripen and fall from the tree into nets that they construct at the bottom to softly catch these mangoes to prevent bruising and damage.
The flavour is intense and rich but not sickeningly sweet. Mind blowing! It is made with kaffir lime and served with coconut sorbet
Tiny parcels packed full of goodness!!! My therapist told me that I need to stay off night shades as well as nuts because it's causing my insides to be inflamed but I just can't help myself sometimes :p #facepalm #sorrynotsorry.
This dessert by Chef Drew from WGS' 2017 Best New Resto surely makes me ditch all diet plans :) It has a bit of everything, sweetness, soft & creamy textures, crunch, nuttiness, slight bitterness from the dark chocolate and not forgetting a hint of saltiness. It's gone in 2 bites so it definitely leaves you longing for more!

Never expected to have something inspired by Thai cuisine here at Odette but Chef Julien has done it again! This dish has possibly made its way into my heart. The subtle hint of Thai yellow curry with lime leaves pairs exceptionally well with the fish and sakura ebi while the kabocha pumpkin adds that touch of sweetness.
