Seriously grilled to perfection! I will have to queue there earlier next time! 😅 Today's wait is about 1 hour....🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️

Thanks to The Lokal team for sending this Pavlova over to our table. My friend and I may have been stuffed from lunch but that didn't stop us from gleefully launching an attack.
How could we possibly not be excited to taste fresh soursop, passionfruit and roasted pineapples heaped on to light-as-air, crisp meringue. Its description on the "specials" board had already caught our attention when we walked in. Well, it turned out just like I'd anticipated: refreshing and fruity, with a lovely balance struck between sour and sweet.
Congrats Chef Darren on adding yet another tempting dessert to your repertoire 👍😋

Following the success of its first outlet at Laguna Village, Diamond Kitchen has opened a larger, more spacious outlet in the West. The slightly inaccessible location hasn’t stopped regulars from returning (the sprawling 300-seater is located on the first floor of Science Park), and reservations are a must on weekends as the place is usually fully packed. Unlike its Laguna Village outlet, the Science Park outlet dishes out quick and affordable one dish meals for the office workers during the day, and the full works during dinner. Zoom in on popular items like the Gan Xiang Fried Rice (from $11) and the finger-licking good Salted Egg Yolk Crab ($68/kg). As part of their third anniversary celebration, the Science Park outlet has an exclusive menu that features the same Gan Xiang spice cooked with Bee Hoon ($25). Another exclusive item worth splurging on is the impressive Diamond Sauna Treasures ($188 or $368). The latter is a massive dim sum basket filled with a bed of hot stones, topped with Boston lobsters, snow crab legs, prawns, scallops and more. It's said that the steam from the hot stones helps to create a "sauna bath" — bringing out the natural sweetness of each seafood!

It's Tapas night at @pimpambyfoc, we are having the #100Gourmet menu with guest Chef from MoVida Melb! Food reminds us of Barcelona and Madrid. Tartare de Tomate con Sardinas Marinadas. So good!

The main and tapas were good for sharing among 2-3 persons. Me and my friends ordered the squid ink paella ($24++), cod fish fritter balls with apple purée ($12++), Patatas Bravas (potato fritters $8++) and flaming rum brioche with chantilly ice cream ($14++). We love the presentation and food was so good. Nice place to chill out.

This Japanese duo concept along Boat Quay has been drawing in the crowds with its wallet-friendly wagyu prices. The second outlet of Aburiya Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku (the first outlet along Robertson Quay is undergoing renovation) serves Japanese-bred, Kuroge (black cattle) A4-grade wagyu grilled on specially imported charcoal (bincho). The space is classy yet inviting, and the bincho doesn't leave a lingering smoky scent on your clothes — perfect for business meetings with clients. Prices start from $18 for raw wagyu, $20 for grilled meats and Family Sets (good for three to four pax) that include an assortment of wagyu and pork start from $50. The other concept, The Container Japanese Wagyu Tapas & Bar, occupies the patio section overlooking the river. Sticking to their nose-to-tail philosophy, the bartender infuses the wagyu fat from Aburiya into their whisky. Try it in the Amai Sanaa ($19), a creamy cocktail that comes with a spritz of lemon, dashi syrup and strawberry candy on the side. Be sure to have that with the highly Instagrammable 'Smoking' Wagyu Carpaccio ($20)!

As much as I love Three Buns' burgers, the rice bowls (available all day) were too tempting to resist. So I ventured over to the Asian side with an order of "Burning Rice".
This was unlike any fried rice I'd ever had before. Firstly, not that it's visible but there's a 100gm patty of U.K. beef lying in wait under that heap of melted cheddar cheese-blanketed rice. Plus enough sauces (think fiery Korean gojuchang, ketchup, dashi mayo) and crispy fried shallots to to lay the tastiest siege on the tastebuds.
My apologies for making it even harder to decide what to have when you're here. You can blame it on @happygreedyfoodie for posting about this dish in the very first place 😆😆

The best thing is, their Bara Chirashi Don is going at $12.80 NETT. No surprise that this highly-raved and wallet-friendly dish is the most popular on the menu! If you’re not a fan of sashimi, give their Glazed Duck Don with Onsen Egg ($14.80) a go.

There is a whole section devoted to sandwiches in PIM PAM by FOC's new Weekend Brunch menu. I recommend paying it close attention because their breads are made from scratch in-house. So what you'll find are breads in different flavours being used with a variety of toppings to form assorted sandwiches of the really tasty kind.
I listened to Chef Jordi and got the "Smoky Salmon". Not surprisingly, it's a winner.
The formula of smoked salmon with cream cheese and chives is a sure thing, but load them on to soft, chewy bread chockfull of black olives, slap on silky marinated piquillo peppers and and what you have is gold.
Keen to try this Weekend Brunch? Then, do visit them on Saturdays and Sundays, between 9am and 3pm.
