To Try List
Having heard many mixed reviews about The Betterfield, I was pleased with my medium rare steak - The Riverine ($20) off their Better Brunch Menu. Decent though not mind-blowing the cut was moist, lovely pink hue on the inside and crusty on the outside. However, it did lacked that oomph factor with the flavours.
Ice Turkish apple tea and hot tea. Love the mutton wrap, so tender and grilled to the prefection. The Iskandar mutton came with mutton sticks, crispy bread at the center with tomatoes puree, surrounded by yogurt at the side. My first exprient of eating mutton dipped with yogurt. Surprisingly refreshing! But the iskandar mutton was too dry to me. Will go back for the mutton wrap instead.
Mutton wrap w salad $8.90
Iskandar mutton $18
Ice apple tea $3.50
Hot tea $3
Two prices set meal comes with radish, fries and drinks at only $7.90! There are few sauces namely swicy (which is my favorite), cheese, mustard and many more! Guess there are few more outlets islandwide too!

The noodles here had a less intense taste, but still remained savoury while carrying wok hei to it and fried alongside with peas, bits of mutton, egg and vegetable.
Last week, we tried @woonwoonpekbeehoon at Changi Village Hawker Centre! Craving for some seafood white beehoon and happen to live in the east? Be sure to check them out !

The place with one of the best Naan in SG !!! Especially the garlic one! Not a fan of garlic, but this change my mind for garlics !!!
Part ice cream bar, part cafe, this Udders outlet at Siglap has revamped to become Udders and Kook, and they have added burgers and brunch grub into their menu. Gather a troop of burger-loving friends and have a go at all seven burger offerings here. The crowd favourite is the Mario Mushroom Burger ($15.90) โ an elevated version of Burger King's Mushroom Swiss. The creation sees mushrooms, rocket leaves, Swiss cheese, truffle mayo and an unbelievably juicy grilled beef patty cradled between two brioche buns. Each burger comes with a choice of fries or Japanese edamame beans. Pro tip: Enjoy a free scoop of ice cream with every main course purchased, valid till 31st July!

Nope. Nope. Nope. Too sinewy, I almost preferred the cheap beef mince (which just so you know, actually makes up half the meat portion).
This Seng Kee outlet in Bedok seems to be more consistent with their soup compared to the outlet near kembangan! The bigger outlet at Kembangan has very spotty service as well and inconsistent soup flavour. It's like rolling a dice to see if you get a nice thick herbal soup flavour or pepper water. That is what makes the bedok outlet my "go to" place for this Mee Sua!
