Chinese/Modern Chinese
Very generous portion of preserved veg below. Beef slices were reasonable tender and slightly chewy, quite good. The broth is strong tho, it's an assault on your senses with the heat and garlic and all.
Pretty decent, abit too strong for me in terms of the heat in all it's forms
The eggs were fried very well, very caramelised and flavourful with good bite. Chives were good too
Solid. However I heard this dish's standards is not consistent from regulars, we were lucky today. Guess it depends on who's helming the wok
It's thick and topped w osmanthus syrup.
But the portion is tiny. There's nothing too premium about it to justify the price
Ridiculously priced, avoid. The food here is roughly double the fair price, idk why they still managed to open a second branch. Are people so starved for fancy teochew?
There's good reason why the prata costs 2 bucks more. It's very crispy and goes well w their stunning beef curry which I have alr sang praises about.
Must try
Weak chili, mainly vinegar
Skin was supple and decent enough, leek pork filling was too soft.
Overall passablw
Lovely as always, the naibai doesn't disrupt from the flavours, but too big to mesh perfectly
Very meh

The flavour is a little similar to the packaged ones, but this is obviously much better executed. However the meat was quite fatty (not greasy tho)
Well this is a very unique version. First of all it's a dry version, secondly it's very savoury
It's basically if you wanted to make another dish involving fried eggs but decided last minute to put in tomatoes instead of sliced pork or sth.
However since their fried eggs are so good it's still delicious overall
Tender w a bit of chew, the cartilage wasn't crunchy enough tho. Overall v mild
The intestines were fried to a light crunch with good umami in itself. The flavours of the intestines were very well expressed in each piece.
Lovely rendition, maybe the best for this fried type
I was very perplexed at a Chinese place with 4.9stars on Google reviews lmao
