Tanjong Pagar
The sight of the queue makes me excited, I mean, got queue means the food's great right (typical singaporean). Simple restaurant serving only 2 dish, special set, or vegetable. No surprises which set I went for. π€ 2 tempura prawns resting atop of a mixture of deep fried vegetables of corn and ladyβs finger, slices of chicken and a surprise onsen egg hidden among all that mess. My tempuras look weird cause it's all flopped down, probably cause it was rushed out. But who cares, they were so good, I left the shop smelling like one too ππΌ
Had HOG v2 with seasalt bagel for lunch today ($13.9). Pricey yet tasty and filling. The BBQ pork ribs with onion is juicy, and the bagel itself is chewy but still soft in texture. Seasalt doesn't add much flavour to the bagel but I think the filling itself is just right. Love it (other than the price)
Never any regrets when it comes to this Fancy French. I've made no secret that this is my fave item from Ninja Bowl back when they first opened, and even amidst the newer menu additions I find myself most drawn to this. How not to, when you've got an amazingly fluffy brioche β homemade whatmore β lots of fresh fruits (oh them figs β€οΈ), an epic fig jam, and a tangy-sweet ume syrup? .
