Peppermint Mocha and coffee were decent but what really impressed me was that coffee art. Kudos to the amazingly talented baristas behind the counter! I'm not one who usually cares for art on my coffee but this, this I had to appreciate for a full minute before drinking.
The place was a little hard to get to because there was no signboard, but that just added to the mystique of this cafe. Kinda like a secret hideout, where you'll be rewarded with wonderfully friendly service and good food (though I have yet to try) when you've found it.
I asked for the bacon to be replaced with smoked salmon. This was one of the better eggs benedict I had. The english muffin was toasty and I liked the portobello bits beneath the eggs. The melted cheese on the eggs also gave this dish a unique spin.

With an extensive Coffee Menu that's spoils & also fulfilled every caffeine addict, comes the Black Bird. That is if you are into Cold Brews (which I am totally into with the weather in SG) 🏵
The Black Bird comes with a tasting of 3 cold brews, it got my curiosity but the Nitro Brew caught my attention & heart. It's like drinking a carbonated black coffee, it's either you Love it or Hate it kinda thing. 😋

If you work in the Tanjong Pagar area and have yet to savour the set lunch at boCHINche, it's time to right that wrong. This modern Argentinian restaurant serves what we reckon is the most value-for-money lunch set in this guide. The Prix Fixe Menu comes with a choice of Two Courses ($27) and Three Courses ($32, includes dessert) with dishes rotating weekly. Before heading down, check their Instagram for the latest menu. Thankfully, the crowd-favourite rib-eye steak is a mainstay — think 180g of meltingly tender Argentinian beef served with a side of wedges and a yummy chimichurri mayo. During our meal there, we thoroughly enjoyed the alternative main of prawn and scallop open lasagna, and their excellent dessert of sponge cake with mixed berries and yerba mate sorbet. Portions are generous, so we recommend sharing one dessert between two!
Avg Price: $35 per person
