Smoked salmon with egg benedict and many more for $17 excluding GST ! Overall satisfying dish 😁 would definitely visit again!

The west side of Singapore is slowly catching up on the cafe bandwagon. ☺️ Situated a 10 minutes walk from Chinese Garden MRT, this cafe sells a good variety of finger food, pastas and western mains. The Truffle Fries had just a slight hint of truffle taste, but I liked that the fries were really crispy and not that potato-y (i.e.: more skin outside less potato inside). The Vongole had a good amount of clams, but taste-wise it was pretty ordinary. Didn't think it deserved the Chef-recommendation logo on the menu. Overall, the food here is pretty decent and value-for-money and I'll visit again for the other items on the menu!

Tucked away in an industrial neighbourhood in Bukit Batok, The RawR Kitchen serves comforting Italian pastas and award-winning beers by On Tap Brewery. This no-frills restaurant-cum-microbrewery isn't easy to find, but before you dismiss it, we promise the arduous journey to the West is worth it. Come on the weekend with a group of serious pint-pourers for the Beer Buffet ($35) — a value-for-money two hours of free-flow craft beers. There are eleven on rotation, of which you should look out for the crowd-pleasing Wheat Beer (second place in the Asia Beer Medal Awards) and the alcoholic Root Beer. The latter pairs well with the lip-smacking Deep Fried Pork Belly ($9), which Burpple Tastemaker Xing Wei Chua describes as "immensely fatty and juicy, lightly crusted with a melt-in-the-mouth texture that is simply done yet addictive". If you're working around the area, swing by with your colleagues for lunch and have the unbelievably tasty Bolognese ($11). The humble dish of linguine is topped with beef that's been slow-cooked for four hours in a homemade tomato sauce.

Luscious scrambled eggs & creamy mushroom on toasted Sour Dough :) Loved it!! Good for sharing, this came in a generous portion which I almost couldn't finish.

Haven't had such a nice bagel in a long time.

This is a homely Italian restaurant that I really like. Minimal deco, no frills though personable service, but what shines is the sincere and authentic Italian cooking.

This came with fresh crayfish, mussels, clams, squid and prawns in a homemade marinara sauce is of a consistency we think is perfect - liquid enough to coat the pasta evenly but thick enough to feel the punch of the tomato. It isn't too sour, I actually drank up all the gravy after I was done with the noodles and seafood.

This feels like homely Italian food. It will be my regular hangout.

i always have high regards to japanese garlic fried rice and almost a yardstick to measure if i like the japanese restaurant. sadly, i was not impressed at tenryu, located inside diary farm condo. but one can definitely play safe and go for the maki, surprisingly good.

The pork knuckles they have was't exactly large by most standards. Portion was just sufficient for 2. However what they lack in size, the people here sure make it up in terms of quality, the skin was crackling crispy yet ensuring the meat was juicy and flavourful. This set comes with a side of garlic mash, sauerkraut, side salad topped with fried onion.
