All Halal Must Try!
Yes, this is fast food, but we think it's one of the best in the city. You won't find a spicy version, only good ol' succulent chicken, available as a two-piece set or a whole Spring Chicken (from $7.90). Burppler Anne W describes it best: "The chicken is fried to perfection, its meat succulent underneath a crisp of skin. The amount of oil is just enough to not give me a layer of lip gloss."

Aspirasi is widely regarded as the best halal fried chicken rice (Ayam Penyet) in Singapore. You'll find this gem in Harbourfront's Seah Im Food Centre - for $5, you'll get a hearty plate of deep-fried chicken thigh and fragrant rice buried in crispy batter bits. Top one $1 for extra chicken, you won't regret it. And the sambal chilli? It packs a punch and can only be described as "damn shiok". According to Burppler Gerald Chai, at least.

Tartly Sweet Raspberry compote spots in the delicate Rose cream and fluffy lychee sponge.
I thoroughly enjoyed this cake. Thought the baby sponge cube outer layer was very clever too!! No need for frosting/decor yet providing a fun texture and eating experience as it breaks up and multiply. + you donโt waste the space bits of extra sponge after trimming etc ๐
WONDERFUL!

Awesome great taste!๐๐๐ช
Good Muslim food and the chicken is well roasted. The chilli is very close to the Chinese chicken rice type. Yummy yummy yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 July 19
The Fish & Chips Burger has a pollack fillet fried in their homemade batter, which was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. What stood out was Burgsโs ingenious use of nacho cheese and their homemade tartar sauce which enhanced the taste of the fish.

It's called Martabak Manis. Manis means sweet. This is special and rarely seen in Singapore. It originates from Indonesia and shares many similarities with our Min Chiang Kueh and Malaysia's Apam Balik. Yet, if you look at the Flavours that usually go into the Indonesian Version, you will understand why it has 'Manis' in the name. We had the cheese topping. Not bad I'd say, especially if you're like me, who likes the thick and fluffy classics. If you're an Indonesian or have tried the ones in Indo, you will find it very much less sweeter here. The price also comes off as a tad expensive. Still worth a try! ๐

They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and I was spoilt for choice, so I decided to give their Virgin Mojito Lychee a try. The taste of the lychee, mixed together with the fresh lime and mint leaves was sooo good! This is a perfect drink to quench your thirst on a hot day because it's simply just refreshing and super cold! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

We didn't have a full meal here, just a couple of bites of my dining companion's cheesesteak sandwich. It was perfectly flavoured, not overly cheesy, and leaves you wanting more. Lovely welcoming atmosphere too, definitely relaxing if you come outside the usual office peak hours. Will definitely be back to try the other sandwich flavours or takeaway if I'm in the area again!
