dry version is their signature, and i must say i really loved this fusion dish. the meatball has a tinge of alcohol to it. the pork (torched!) slightly on the sweet side. they were generous with the pork lard, which was crispy and goooood. my friend opted for add-on onsen ($1) which looked really amazing too. didn't succumb to the temptation of king prawns (seasonal and apparently it's HUGE this time), but do try if you're a prawnaholic.

options of $4 and $5 available, but you'll not regret the $5 one. there's always a queue, so you'll not miss the stall unless you reach before dinner time (we ate around 6.30pm?). wet version of the hokkien mee, sweeter than you'll expect but makes me crave for more!

slurp! the soup is really tasty, one of the better fish soup i've had! not too expensive too, though you might have to queue for abit, but i'm sure this is worth the time ;)

so yummy! this stall cooks upon order so no worries about it being cold and reheated. the skin of the dumplings is so thin and you can basically slurp down 10 of this if you're feeling sinful. feels that this can match up to the stall in Chinatown Food Complex :)

the soup bursts in your mouth!! the skin was made so good, i accidentally dropped the xiaolongbao onto the tray and it was still intact. heng the soup didnt spill out, else really such a waste :p

$1.50 topup for okonomi fries option and best choice!! kiap-ed with an egg and red ginger with the teriyaki chicken, CHEAP AND GOOD

one of my always-go-to food at Encik Tan! very flavourful, and the chicken is always so tender. if you're one who loves 锅巴, i guess you'll love this too! takeaway version always seems yummier to me though~ be careful of the chilli, IT'S HOT.

From the stall named Whampoa Prawn Noodles prawn noodles comes in soup or dry versions, $3 or $4. $3 was just right for a girl's appetite I thought! Generous in prawns, the soup was tasty to me, but might be slightly salty for others' liking. Yummy in general :)

My favourite orh luah stall at 85! The oysters are huge and juicy, and the starch has crispy edges with the eggs! Even my dad said it was good (it's really hard to earn his chop of approval!)

The uncle from this stall is really meticulous with every order of sugarcane juice! He pours the raw juice frm the sugarcane through many sieves and filters before handing the cup of sugarcane juice to his customer. Fresh and sweet :)

slightly salty, but i'm not complaining for this flavourful plate of carrot cake! the kueh itself is really soft. has a slight burnt taste to it, perhaps from trying to make the dish slightly crispy with the egg's whites.
