decided to get the cookies & cream ice cream puff after seeing it all over my instagram feed โ definitely didn't disappoint! the ice cream was super creamy and the puff itself complemented the texture of the ice cream very well. ๐ป
really good on a hot day, but it does get quite messy towards the end so get more napkins ๐
They believe in using the freshest ingredients and making everything from scratch. The noodles are mixed with fresh eggs, giving it a QQ texture. Shown here are My Chicken Noodles ($7.90), My Pork Noodles ($8.90), and new item: Truffle Oil Noodles ($9.90).
Omg I'm eating so much these days, HALP. But me is happy girl! ๐๐พ
"The superfood acai (pronounced ah-sigh-ee) is known to be packed with antioxidants โ 10 times more antioxidants than red grapes, helps combat premature aging, and contains good amounts of iron, calcium, fiber, and vitamin A." This is a bowl of beauty, health and taste! I've been visiting Project Acai for months on end now and it's no surprise why I do. Sure, the prices may be a little steep (the large cup I always get is $14.50) but it's worth every penny. It's a generous serving of fruits and acai berries and really great to share. The atmosphere is lovely and calming, I'd imagine spending a rainy Sunday afternoon here having a bowl with my boyfriend! They also have the option of takeaway if that's what you're after! I highly recommend Project Acai because of it's consistent quality, great service, awesome taste and health benefits.
I wish I lived in Toa Payoh / Braddell so I can have the ice cream here whenever I want ๐ญ

The grilled chicken chop here had always been decent enough with its homely cooking style that saw the chicken being smothered in a tasty brown sauce. However, with the hire of the head chef who hails from Fat Cow (yes, THE Fat Cow restaurant), there's been a noticeable shift in the cuisine direction. For starters, he has injected sophistication and elegance into a few of the existing dishes including this one. From the artistically-skewed plating style to more finely-tuned flavours, it is apparent an evolution for the better is happening. The chef has also implemented several make-from-scratch processes in the kitchen which I feel, really makes a difference to the taste of what's eventually placed in front of me. Judging by this grilled chicken dish alone, I can't wait to find out the other pleasant surprises he'll be pulling out of his chef's hat. ๐
We went at 11am and we had to wait for a table, which we didn't mind as the food arrived pretty quickly afterwards. We ordered the Rosewater Lychee Cake, Salted Caramel Popcorn Cake ($7 each), the famous wings ($10) and the truffle fries ($12)! It's a great brunch choice for a few friends to enjoy ๐๐ผ
This Belgian Waffle Combo with a Scoop of Ice Cream ($7) was decent. It was fluffy and went along well with the chocolate sauce.
There is always a queue seen outside of the restaurant! First time trying the famous white bee hoon and instantly fell in love with it. The salted egg sotong was pretty shiok too! ๐๐ป
There was only the oreo flavour left for the rainbow cakes available when we got there on a Sunday evening, but it tasted really good! Not just creamy cakes looks good from the outside, but fluffy well-done flavoured cakes. The earl grey cheesecake was so well done too, the cheese was pretty thick! It's good to go with the Caromilie tea. I'll certainly visit again!
