This was potent but so good - the creamy mascarpone was perfect contrasted against the acidic and fruity espresso-soaked sponge.
Usually not a fan of deconstructed anything but this was goooood. Meringue not too sweet, lemon curd sufficiently sour and the biscuit crumble had just that right amount of salt to pull it all together.
This was soooooo good and only $8. Forget the fact that it isn't really a cake. Generous chunks of apples and raisins hiding beneath impeccably flaky puff pastry. The ice cream was of course perfect with it.
Big portions despite us using a Groupon. Charcoal froyo was yummy too. But other than that, the mango and lychee jelly caviar that popped in our mouths were a bit too artificial tasting for our liking and were bitter at some points. Should have stuck to the dried fruits #regret. Milk soft serve also melted in our mouths to leave little bits of coagulated milk (?) so it definitely wasn't the smoothest soft serve out there.
1/3 the price of a Korean bingsu and therefore so much more satisfying. The black sesame taste was very rich and pronounced so we were happy girls scraping the bottom of the bowl.
Thick and rich with generous amounts of coconut milk and gula melaka. Totally kickass (and only $2!).
It's always not crowded here, so it's perfect for chilling with friends. The waffle here is really good - crispy and light and fluffy (no stodgy waffles here!). Perfect with the two hulking scoops of ice cream. The cookies and cream was generous with the cookies but the peach melba was a true showstopper. Not too sweet too. Their durian is kickass!
Didn't have that green tea hit I was looking for. Shaved ice not as fine as Nunsaram's. But the red bean paste was fabulous... One of the best red bean pastes out there.
Definitely pricey at $18 but oh, so worth it. Baked and risen perfectly, the edges of the soufflé were just that little bit crispy. The inside was just what I imagine chocolate clouds to taste like. The soufflé didn't collapse even after we dug in. The chocolate was extremely rich and dark, so pour on some vanilla sauce (like we did) to temper that if you want. On my previous visits, this came with raspberry sorbet (which I prefer), but we got vanilla ice cream this time instead. Ice cream was a little icey but had a legit vanilla flavour.
Tried my best to capture this under poor lighting but this totally does not give justice to how good this was. Baked perfectly, and not too sweet. There was a taste of butterscotch as well, which was unexpected but welcome. Pricey at $13 but definitely one of the most well done lava cakes out there. And of course the quality of the chocolate used is 👌🏻💯
Crispy but also super greasy 😪 Chocolate dip also was not great. Not worth $12.
The waffles were fresh and crisp but the true star was the miso caramel. It added a level of complexity that was 👌🏻💯. Together with the ice-cream, it was pretty damn good.
