This Signature Crackling Siu Yoke Nasi Briyani caught Burpple Tastemaker, Julius Lim's attention first. Opened slightly more than a month ago, it is helmed by a young hawker who gave this simple dish a new spin by pairing it with Siu Yoke (aka crispy pork belly)!
Personally, I thought the rice was a tad dry and the siu Yoke could be even more crackling. But it is overall good value at $5. Just some small tweaks to perfect this dish! #BurppleYoungHawkers
Chanced upon Dil'B restaurant along Changi V and decided to experience how powerful this Bryani is. I came with high expectations, given their claims on the pull-out banner displayed outside the store and I was not disappointed at all. The portion of the curry chicken is HUGE. Cooked for long periods of time, the meat tenderly fell off the bone. Nicely marinated then drenched in curry sauce, this chicken was definitely the star. I also loved the combination of achar, curry and long-grained Bryani rice, which comes together as sweet, sour and savory. No wonder it's touted as the best Bryani in Changi V on TripAdvisor.
