Was surprised that the portion was quite huge for RM6.90! It has a slight hint of vinegar that gives a nice touch to the taste. For something simple, this loh mee is definitely satisfying for everyone.
If you prefer a bowl of soupy soft noodles, Penang has one of the best that you should try. For RM3.30, this bowl is filled with yummy kuey teow noodles, a ball of minced meat, fish cakes and fish balls. Situated around the flats at Macallum, the atmosphere was homely, relax and a nice get away from the city š
Ahh.. I fell in love with this cendol to bits. It's a perfect combination of ingredients which brings this simple dessert to such a delicacy. For RM2.70, it's worth it!
I love how this char keow tiao is presented. With fried egg laid on top of the soft noodles, the taste was really good and not oily at all. Simply one of the popular spots for char keow tiao if you visit Ipoh. A must try if you can't get to Penang for one!
One of the things that you should try isn't just chicken rice balls or cendol in Malacca, but Asam Pedas Claypot. They serve a variety of fish to choose from and chicken as well. Each set comes with rice, egg, veg and an optional sides such as chicken wings, otak-otak and satay. Loved how spiced the curry is, and the environment of this place is very calming - tall trees, nice breeze at night, and some erhu music playing in the background š
The thick beef gravy sprinkled with sesame seed on top, gels just right with the noodles, roast nuts and meat. Also, it comes along with a bowl of beef broth that's totally yummy! You can get this at the central market in Seremban, and it doesn't cost cheap (rm8) but totally worth it.
