Burgers & Sliders

THIS is a damn burger!! Double chuck, dripping with juicy goodness, and a smooth, bronzed, glossy buttery bun. It may not look like much, but is intensely satisfying and filling.

These guys fry off beef, lamb and chicken patties off a makeshift grill along a dark and empty five-foot way of a row of shophouses. Super questionable but that's how they do it in Kuching, and is a much sought-after drunk food. The beef patty was super peppery, which really brought out all the flavours well and it remained sufficiently juicy. The chicken one was jazzed up with some slices of grilled pineapple. Impressive.

Not your regular burger joint (unintended reference!). The burgers here stand out with the incredibly fluffy, pillowy, buttery buns with smooth, glistening tops and juicy, smoky beef patties (beware of drips down your arm) scorched generously with grill marks. Although the truffle came across stronger in aroma rather than flavour, at least i'm more confident the burger i'm eating is actually from a cow.

Not my favourite dish the first time i came, and it still isn't now. It's an exceptional burger no doubt (pillowy, buttery sesame seed buns, crunchy purple cabbage) but the pulled pork was a tad stringy and.. canned tuna-esque. Good flavour though

Nice juicy, gamey patties (i like a bit of game) but nothing to really shout about.. Also the addition of the kimchi mayo is a bit gimicky - more mayo than kimchi.

Beef patty, aged cheddar, caramelised onion relish between sesame buns. Post-workout GAINZ 😜

Beef patty, shiitake, jalapenos, beets, wild arugula, all smothered in a blue cheese sauce between a sesame bun. He let me have some and let me just say - it's been a while since i've had burgers as unapologetically indulgent and delicious. We loved Fatboys'.

Homemade vegetable bean patty, with a tangy onion tomato relish and sweet potato fries. My opinion? Too heavy on the sweet potato (also in the patty).

Not exactly a burger, but i pretty much ate this bagel like one. The bagels here are baked in house, and are pretty tasty. The slow-roasted pork cheek was hearty and delicious but for $12.90? Hmmm.

This has completely changed the way i see vegan meals 😱 these were sooo delicious and hearty!
