Interesting that the bread was served in a gunny sack, with hot stones underneath to keep the bread warm. I was a tab disappointed that the bread was served after I had finished the amuse bouche which was sweet potato soup served in a tea cup. |

Part of the 3 course lunch (S$40++) available during @TheFrenchWeekSG at La Brasserie in @FullertonBayHotel from 10 to 17 Sep.
Served with bread and butter, accompanied with a glass of Rive Gauche Melot or Colombard Chardonnay.
This was followed with Frisée Salad, Duck Confit, Creme Brûlée.
And ended with Petit Fours, accompanied with English Breakfast Tea.
Did not sound like the usual 3 course isn't it. So much and so yummy. Some more in such an atas place with live music.

Cassoulet ($28.80)
Traditional French casserole containing slow cooked pork belly, duck confit, homemade sausage and beans.

Served in a small claypot, the serving was quite huge. The pork belly was chunky and tender, with melt in the mouth fatty part. But could be quite jelat after a few mouthfuls.
Seem that the menu had gone through a big change. Food was much better than when it first opened. The food was mostly quite salty then.

$24 a serving, it kinds of look small. Quinoa, barley, cereal crust, hollandise, citrus vinaigrette. Very yummy and filling.

Roasted potatoes, sausages, caramelized onions with a 63c poached egg and house made brioch. Quite a big and filling serving at $22.
