Pork ham at the upper left hand corner was super good we took a whole chunk of it. The laksa was surprisingly good and portioned well, I had a few servings of it. Chili crab on the other hand was disappointing and not worth a try.
Raw oysters were awesome, having it without any sauces can make you taste the purity and freshness of it. The alaskan crab legs were delightful too except that it was quite a handful. Roast chicken with stuffing and turkey meat was uniquely cheesy and flavored I got a few servings of it.
Poached prawns were really sweet and fresh, with all the roe present too makes it perfect.
The flesh doesn't have much taste to it because it was chilled and it flakes as I peel it. Sauces were offered to go with, but in my opinion I still prefer it grilled.
Back here for buffet again & it's the oyster season till 30 september 2014. Pretty refreshing and amazing to have oysters in many of their usual dishes. Some of it to name; Oyster shabu shabu, Oyster Chawanmushi, fresh oysters doused in different seasonings (the apple one is interesting!) & breaded oyster. The best I felt was the Oyster Shabu Shabu, the oysters made the broth taste sweet, also they are really fresh to boot. Available at NorthPoint, Revenue House & City Square Mall.
Recommends the above dishes in the collage if you plan to head to Momiji for buffet (I love the seafood and mini shabu shabu the most) . It cannot be compared to hotel buffets but it is decent enough if you want to fix your buffet craving. Prices varies for lunch and dinner buffet. There is also free flow of Sapporo beer (dinner buffet) for those who wants some alcohol to pair with.
