Unlike some places, the music played was not too loud and is appropriate for the theme. Black and white were the main colour scheme for this cafe. Seems like a blast from the past with a modern twist. A small and cosy cafe, making it a nice place to hang out. The cups they use are unique and different from most cafe, they use double wall cups which are known to keep coffee or any drink warm.

Love how light the cake and cream was. And it was not too sweet. Mocha was so well brewed. Nice ambience. Would have stayed longer if we were not rushing off elsewhere

Had always wanted to try the pastries at this place. Love the decor and the fact that it was not that packed despite it being a lunch hour

Small and cosy shop. Limited seating meant that it might be super packed during their peak hours. So if you want to enjoy your coffee without feeling bad about hogging, I would suggest going on a weekday afternoon. They are currently having promotion where you get a cuppacino or latte and any small pastry for $5.90. That's really quite the steal. And did I meantion that they offer free wifi?

Cafe with a garden theme. Plastic flowers in cans, flower pots, etc, bed of plastic flowers acting as dividers and even their desserts came in flower pots.

I must admit that I had a difficult time trying to locate this place. It was well tucked in a small corner at Duxton hill. Small and quant shop which I'm pretty sure is always full on weekends. Because the weather is super warm, I had wished for a stronger aircon. I liked that I was greeted at the door and shown to my seat. Something different from the usual cafes I have been to. I'll be back to try that waffles

Had always wanted to try the coffee from this joint and when I heard that they opened a joint in the east, it's so obvious I had to make a trip down. Further more, it's only about 10 minutes away from home! Relatively big place with a nice modern workshop feel. A pity that they did not have much seating area. I wonder what happens when it is full house. But I will be back at this time soon! Now if only they offer free wifi

Nice ambience and if you go at a time where there aren't many customers it makes your cafe visit a good experience. Quiet is what I would say about mine. Was a little worried that it would be noisy as there is a playground and that it is a child friendly cafe. Love their customized serving plates for their cakes. Makes me want to have one of my own

Since I was in Amsterdam and happened to read about a few must visit cafes, I decided to go to the one near the place i rented. It felt like I was back in Singapore with similar eclectic and mismatched furniture but the difference is no sight of any Asians. Coffee was well pressed and dripped. Proportion of milk to coffee was just right. It was a good way to start my morning. The choc au pain had a buttery interior with crisp exterior and evenly spread chocolate

Friendly staff who take time to talk to you when the place is less hectic but yet give you a friendly smile even when they are busy. Coffee at affordable prices and of quality and standard. Cakes are not too bad. Sandwiches are freshly prepared, so be prepared to wait. Small and cosy cafe which can also be downside because if you happen to come at a time that it's full, you might want to consider waiting or walk away disappointed.
