A slow afternoon with an enjoyable lunch at this small Vietnamese eatery. Tried the prawn noodles here as recommended by @cweizhi - not the typical rich broth like our local prawn mee, the broth was comfortingly light and sweet, comes with pork, prawns. Really enjoyed the Vietnamese drip coffee too! Wanted to get the drip (sachet) but it requires a preorder as they pack it fresh, so I ended up getting a bag of coffee beans for drip coffee which they kindly grounded for me.
Will be back to try other items on the menu (also eyeing the Vietnamese egg coffee!)
Tonkin Jasmine shoots, specially air flown from Vietnam. Had a sense of familiarity with this as it reminded me of Chinese kailan. This was stir fried with garlic which may look rather unassuming, but I liked the crunch and flavours!
Thank you Burpple for the kind invite and Mrs Pho for having us!
Unanimous favourite! Served with pickles, herbs, vegetables, succulent nicely grilled pork and patties marinated with lemongrass and fish sauce that is sure to whet one’s appetite.

Served with tiger prawns, pomelo and fresh herbs, this was mildly sweet, tangy and appetisingly refreshing! Came with a side of crackers for crunch.
The traditional charcoal hotpot comes with 4 soup bases made with Vietnamese herbs, spices, ingredients to choose from and a good selection of meats, seafood and vegetables.
The robust Nourishing Collagen Pepper Soup which reminds one of local pig organ soup, Vietnamese Perilla Mutton Soup, herbal chicken mushroom soup (which was a tad on the bitter side but very comforting!); and my favourite of the 4 - The Crab Bisque Soup (Regular $38, Large $48) (spicy/non-spicy). It was unexpectedly light with sweetness from the crab. My favourite ingredients for the hotpot was the incredibly tender Wagyu, and I really liked the succulent homemade prawn paste. The dips were fantastic too!

Simple Vietnamese food, but really filling and pretty satisfying. Beef feast was your typical Viet fare but really comforting one at that, with generous portion of beef (beef balls, slices, brisket). Pork chop was a little dry at certain parts but overall pretty good! Paid an extra $4 for drink + ice cream. The plum lime soda was interestingly refreshing, Thai tea ice cream was true to taste without being too sweet.
$10.90, beef and beef balls. Decent fare, but portion isn't very big. For lunch set add $2 for drinks and spring roll.
$13.90. The 2 prawns were succulent. There was also crispy pork cracklings, viet steamed egg with pork & fungus, pickles. Portions were pretty generous. Wiki-ed broken rice - turns out it's a cheaper grade of rice from damage in milling, with generally lower fiber and nutrients content. But ok, the food was quite tasty and I like the fact that there's variety. Gonna try soup ones next.
Quite filling with a lot of ingredients. Crispy soft shell crab & squid In dill, viet steamed egg with pork & fungus (which I didn't rly like), pickles, seaweed. $13.90. Think the lunch set is quite worth it, shall try it someday.
$5.90! Extremely filling for me. I really like their bahn mi (prefer the cold cut to this although this was nice too) & noodles. Lunch value set is really quite worth it by the way!
