Had dinner here last week, and Le Cheng did not disappoint. The steamed chicken was tender, bursting with authentic kampong flavour. The claypot brinjal was deliciously soft and packed with taste. The hotplate tofu had a nice spongy texture, and the broccoli with mushrooms was good, though the broccoli couldā€™ve been a bit softer. Overall, itā€™s a fantastic spot for authentic Hainanese food!

I had dinner at Le Cheng last Wednesday, and it was a great experience. Soft and tender steamed chicken was definitely a highlight. Claypot eggplant was perfectly cut and packed with flavour, just the right amount of saltiness. Broccoli with mushrooms was nice, and hotplate tofu was smooth and tasty. The atmosphere feels homely and satisfying, with authentic Hainanese dishes that really hit the spot. Totally worth a visit!

Le Cheng's Chicken Rice is amazing! The kampong chicken is tender, the rice is flavorful, and the flavors are just right. The chili sauce and ginger add a nice kick. But the White Pepper Chicken Soup really steals the show - it's clear, tasty, and warmly spiced. It pairs perfectly with the chicken rice, making for a delicious and comforting meal. Additionally, must order the Ice Lemon Tea to go with the meal! Definitely try it, whether you're local or visiting!

Went to Le Cheng Kampong Hainanese chicken rice spot for dinner, and the chicken was incredibly tenderā€”definitely a must-order! You canā€™t miss their white pepper claypot chicken soup either. Wow, the soup is thick and rich, packed with flavour and just the right amount of heat from the white pepper. The fragrant broth, filled with tender chicken pieces. Itā€™s the kind of comfort food that feels like a big hug in a bowl!

Check out this traditional kampong style Chicken rice with 25 years of hainanese family-run restaurant. A Hidden gem located in Singapore near Kembangan mrt station!
