Signature Okumidori Latte (Matcha Latte) ($6.90)

So worth it for my trip to kyo kohee and lack of sleep on next moment. I really like this matcha latte so much as their quality for matcha really up to the standard. Until then I don't want to order other shop anymore? just a sip for matcha, I got really excited for more to go. I did order fresh milk even though I got lactose intolerant situation but I don't really care about it.

What an indulgent cup of coffee and matcha, the best combination. The blend was perfect - not too bitter, with a slight hint of sweetness. KYŌ can get very crowded during lunch time so be prepared to wait a little for your order.

As we getting back to work in the office, CBD is getting more living once again.

Here we have a new takeaway cafe serving all sort of drinks, specialise with coffee and Japanese drinks.

A long queue forming outside during lunch time, and I gotten their signature matcha latte.

Strong flavour of matcha and milky taste. It won’t get too diluted even with the ices.

Though there is no lack of shops to satisfy one’s caffeine needs in the Tanjong Pagar district, the takeaway cafe, KYŌ Kohee serves a really nice cup of Matcha. Not saccharine, milky, overwhelmingly bitter, or grassy; their signature Okumidori Matcha Latte ($6.90) was a lovely balance. The sweet vegetal flavour was mixed perfectly with a delicate umami touch and a lingering savoury aftertaste. The smooth concoction (no powdery or grainy mouthfeel) had a surprisingly light and palatable consistency as well.
