Looks bland as hell cos of how pale the noodles are. We were about to add black vinegar but were stopped and advised to try it as it was first. We ended up not adding any condiments - noodle texture feels similar to Eng's without as much of the shortening taste, and the white vinegar cuts through the richness. Ahhh! Amazing!
