It is commonly found in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Southern Thailand. It is often filled with coconut or peanut. My preference is usually the coconut filling. I love it since childhood days. It is fun to watch the making of the Kueh Tu Tu. I was always amazed how the flour so quickly being made into Kueh Tu Tu. It was like MAGIC.

Featuring the Kueh Tu Tu from Kia Xiang Du Du. It is nicely moldddI like that the coconut filling is wet. It is pretty sweet. The skin is a bit too dry though. Prefer the skin to be more moist and springy. It is still a good Kueh Tu Tu to satisfy my craving!

From the abovementioned stall at Beo Crescent Food Centre. Quite delighted to have found a stall within a hawker centre that sells freshly made Kueh Tutus; thought you could only find these at either Food Republic or at Pasar Malams. Compactly packed, these weren't any bit messy to eat as it held on well to each other, encasing drippy, moist sweetened desiccated coconut within. These were from an earlier batch prepared; reckoned that these would be even better while fresh off from the steamer!
